Finally! That old rock song kept going through my head.. "Don't know whatcha got, 'til it's gone..."

As someone else mentioned, there's such a positive and supportive atmosphere here compared to an AWFUL lot of other boards. I feel really blessed to be a part of it!

I agree. Even though it said it would be down until today I still checked at least once a day to make sure I didn't miss it if it came back up earlier. LOL

Oh boy.... I thought the red was pretty. HAHA!!! Shows what I know  Ah well. I am so thrilled to be able to *see* you lovely ladies again. The new and improved forum looks nice. Isn't it funny how we get in a comfort zone and change totally wreaks havoc on our lives. I popped on here and when it wasn't letting me get on because of updates, I thought, "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it ain't broke don't fix it." But I love the new look. Thanks for all of your work Carrie and Tansy's husband (whose name I can't remember.....) If you left me in charge of updates, we'd still be writing on chalk slates and snail mailing them to each other via the Pony Express.

You think I jest!!! I'll have you know techie stuff gives me migraines. The minute my husband starts chanting on and on about digital this and analog that, blah, blah, blah....he says and I quote "I can tell the minute I have lost you. Your eyes glaze over as if watching dust particles float around in the room is more interesting than what I have to say." And Mary, honestly, sometimes the dust particles ARE more interesting to watch than listening to one of his lectures on technology. SHHHHH!! Don't tell him that. But I am a closet technological junkie....I love to have it and use it but I just wish it all came with a Staples Easy button.

Glad to be back among the happy, helpful, and positive chatter here on the HOD boards. You don't realize how much you really miss it until it is gone. I love my morning routine of coffee and the (new and improved!) HOD boards! :D

Jessi,

You sound just like me! I love technology; until it breaks...then I DON"T! I have no idea how to fix it, so then I just wish everything were back to paper. Of course when dh fixes it, I'm the first one to be back on-line checking my emails, message board, and blogging.
