Preparing and Aesop's Fables

Post by Dixie » Mon Jul 21, 2008 2:40 pm

Is it absolutely necessary to Preparing to use the Aesop's Fables by Don Daily? I have several copies of Aesop's Fables including the one by Milo Winter and will only purchase the one by Don Daily if it is essential to Preparing.

I have been reading the Introduction to Preparing and am looking forward to starting our course of study in August.

Thank you,

Dixie

Dixie,

No, it isn't essential that you read the Don Daily Aesop's Fables. It's one of the few books in the Basic Package of Read-Alouds that could be subbed for quite easily. Although, if you can get the Daily one... the pictures are beautiful! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie,

Thank you for your reply. I think we will pass on it because we have at least three different versions of Aesop's Fables already and I don't feel at this point that it would be a good expenditure of money. If the library has it, we may check it out to see the illustrations.

Thank you,

Dixie
