How to select packages

Hello,
I am new to HOD but not new to homeschooling. My son is in 9th grade right now and we are looking to switch to HOD next year. When choosing the packages, do we do the essentials PLUS math, science, etc? Or does everything come in the essentials pack?

There is no overlap in the packages. Each one includes material for a certain number of subjects/credits. So if you want the science credit as scheduled in the guide, you need to buy the science package, for example.

DD16 (completed LHFHG-WH, parts of US1 and 2)
DS14 WG (completed LHFHG-MtMM plus some of LHTH)
DD13 MtMM (completed Rev2Rev)
DS8 Bigger (completed LHTH-Beyond)
