Biblical Worldview credit

Post by GriffinFam » Wed May 24, 2017 6:40 pm

Hi!
I am hoping to start my two high school students in your WH guide this fall, but I need to make sure that my 12th grader gets a 1/2 credit in Biblical Worldview. Do you think that the material in this curriculum will give that 1/2 credit or will I need to supplement it?

I wouldn't consider the bible portion in WH to be Biblical Worldview. Is there any way you could do the Bible portion of US2. I would think I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist would fit that wonderfully.

Can I ask why you need a credit on Biblical Worldview? What is in the guide is enough for a Bible credit, but it is Old Testament.

My High school students are enrolled part time (2-3 classes) in a small private Christian Academy that does all the transcripts and teacher conferences. For HS graduation they are required to have the 1/2 credit in Biblical Worldview. It has to be approved by the teacher that is overseeing the homeschool portions of their work. This will be the 12th grade for my one student so he needs to get that credit this year.

Actually I was wrong. They need 1.0 credit not 1/2 credit.

I would definitely look at what is used in US history 2 for Bible then. Since it is one set of resources, it should be easy to use without the guide.

I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist is supposed to be fantastic and would give you the 1 credit you are looking for. I think you could do it without purchasing the guide, but not sure since I have it here, but won't use it until this coming year.

All of the literature is full of Biblical Worldview, but I'm not sure those questions is enough for credit unless it's called "Lit through Biblical Worldview." Lynn's idea sounds good though.
