My dd finished her final poem for CTC's writing - Write with the Best. I just love it - she surprised me with how well she rhymed everything on her own. I remember that when we started Preparing, she couldn't even string 2 sentences together. I know the rhythm is a bit off but I am not having her change any of it. She is very proud and she did it 100% on her own. My, my - she has changed
My Doggy Radar
Radar the Shepherd
Sleeps like a baby.
His nose is his cane.
He loves my mommy.
He is so cute.
He doesn't really bark.
He sleeps at the end of my mom's bed
While the time of day is dark.
My doggy Radar is tall
And mostly blind.
Even though he is blind,
He doesn't really mind.
That is great!! I'm so happy for both of you---seeing fruit in our children after all of the "work" is a big encouragement to keep on going. Thanks for sharing!!
