DITHOR Christmas??

Post by marybeth33 » Sun Aug 16, 2015 5:39 pm

We usually take a few weeks "off" at Christmas time and do "Christmas School". Last year we studied Christmas around the world. This year, as two of my girls are doing American History, we will do Christmas in America, using A Pioneer Christmas, similar to the Pioneer Sampler book, plus a few other non-fiction type books. I am looking for suggestions for a Christmas Read Aloud(kids in CTC, Bigger and Beyond) and/or a 5/6 level for DITHOR. We already do the Jotham's Journey series with dad as devotional time. Any ideas for a great, well written, feel good Christmas novel??

Obviously the first one I thought of was A Christmas Carol, but that might be too hard.

If you go to scholastics website you can put in Christmas and then filter by reading level. Several in the 5.0-5.9 level look good :)
