Math manipulatives for bigger?
I am using Bigger with my 2nd grader starting august. We are using singapore math 2 for the first time. Do any of you moms recommend any certain math manipulatives we will need? I am trying to order everything I'll need for the year. I appreciate any input!! Thanks in advance...

Re: Math manipulatives for bigger?
Hi! We are in 2B right now. For the hand's on activities, Carrie uses items you usually have on hand (money, raisins, cherrios, cotton balls, etc). We do have some math cubes (the kind that can stack together to make tens or break apart to make ones). Those have been handy. And you might like having some counters on hand. But those aren't necessary, just something we've liked using. Hope that helps!

Thank you! I was considering buying the unifex cubes, and maybe counting rods. I am going to go ahead and order! We have plenty of small plastic dinosaurs to use as counters. I am so excited to start!!!
