Dictation question

Hi there,

My 10yo ds and 8yo dd finished Bigger in February but have both continued with math, spelling, grammar, copywork, and dictation for the remainder of the school year as we explore other areas of interest in the other subjects. When we start Preparing the fall, my ds will be in 5th grade. Should I place him in the dictation level 4 and see how he does or should I start at level 3? What is done in CTC for dictation? Is there a level 5, 6, and 7? My dd will be in 3rd grade so I intend to start on dictation level 2.

If I understand you correctly, you have already been doing dictation. If that is the case, I would pick up where you left off.
