Res to Ref: Mystery of History Volume III

Post by Tami » Fri May 22, 2015 10:45 am

Is there any reason that I would need the hardback book if I already have the audio CDs? Are the pictures and artwork worth the additional purchase?

Thanks!

Tami,

You will definitely need to have the hardback MOH III book, as the student is meant to be reading the text to himself/herself for all assignments. This is important preparation for the level of reading expected in the guides to come. The student will also need to refer back to the text for written narrations, to know how to spell the difficult names and places covered in the text, to look up dates, to utilize maps, to use the pictures within the text, to refer back to the text to complete notebooking assignments, and a myriad of other needs. :D

We read the entire MOH III text within the HOD guide, so it is a purchase well worth making. Our plans will not work without the Mystery of History III hardback text. The CDs are a nice extra to have, but they are meant to be a supplement to the actual text.

I pray you will enjoy HOD as much as we have with our own boys! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
