WG Living Library: Word to Caesar
WG Living Library: Word to Caesar
My daughter is absolutely loving this book and wanted me to encourage other families to have their kids read it. She mentioned that it has been placed on her "favorite books list". As an aside, I'm reading Big John's Secret (the next book in the Living Library set) and I'm really enjoying it. I know Living Library is optional but we have found that it brings a lot of joy and excitement to the WG guide.

Re: WG Living Library: Word to Caesar
These were favorites of our ds too - the living library is so worth the extra timed! I asked my ds at the start of the WH guide if he wanted to do the Living Library, knowing it was not needed for counting credits. He looked at me wide-eyed like I was crazy for asking and said, 'Uh, yeah! Those books were the BEST last year' he said (referring to WG's Living Library). "I'd never miss those!" He has enjoyed WH's Living Library equally as much this year. I like that CM feel to learning is still a part of high school. I remember being burnt out on reading in high school and college. In fact, my free reading for fun in those years just stopped. My ds still loves to read outside of school, and he is loving many of his books he is reading for high school too. What a blessing! Please do thank your dd for her encouragement to others in regard to reading the WG Living Library and especially "Word to Caesar." Thoughts such as these are encouraging seeds to plant for our rising high school students.

Julie
