As if needed, ANOTHER reason to love HOD!

If you haven't educated yourself about the horrors of Common Core in the public schools, you really need to do so. We, in the homeschooling community, can't live in a bubble (as much I would love to most days). The unbelievable infiltration of Islam into our public schools is frightening. As I was contemplating this, I realized what important work we are doing in our homeschools, especially using HOD. Do you ladies realize HOW important what we are doing is? If things continue as they are going, there is a good chance that our children will be ones of only a few that haven't learned revisionist, pro-Islamic, secular history? Our children will be beacons of truth and light in an ever-dimming America. Our children have the opportunity to change the world by God's grace. So soldier on, Moms. AND thank HOD for making it such a light burden.

Tawny, go to hslda.org. (homeschool legal defense). I'm sure you can find information on the dangers of Common Core on their website.

Laura - I have said often that one of the most important reasons I use HOD is because of what is being taught form the Bible. If our kids are going to be strong enough to stand the tests of time, they need to be saturated with God's Word. Now the Christians during the Crusades are being compared to extremists. We have no idea what we will be up against in the future. Thank you, Carrie, and all those involved in HOD, for helping us to equip our children with the armor they will need to fight against this world's darkness, and filling them with the promises in God's Word, that they will know where true victory lies.
