Glad you have a plan.

I just wanted to mention that Angie turned 8 at the end of LHFHG. She enjoyed that guide. She especially liked the history and the storytime books. She also enjoys science. HOD book selections are great! She loves to be read to, even now at 11, since she still can't sit down and read much on her own. It is coming slowly. She was actually reading an Amelia Bedelia book on her own last week. Not sure if she read all the words correctly, but at least I am seeing occasional interest in trying. Don't get discouraged. Just keep moving forward in those frustrating times, and don't do what I did and feel like you need a change. Since you started the OG reading early, hopefully it won't happen to you.

I will mention that, every time I would try something else, even when using Barton, I still kept coming back to HOD. We even tried Preparing in the midst of it all. Now, a year later, we are back to stay for a long time.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. III John 4
