A Child's Geography?

Hi, I purchase this book before deciding on HOD and was pleased to see that HOD uses it in CTC. However, I just realized that the volume I have is 1 "Explore His Earth NOT The Holy Land". Does anyone know if the first volume will be of any use for the future guides? I hate to think I purchased this book for nothing :-/. Also, I was really looking forward to using it based on all it's positive reviews. TIA...

It's scheduled in the science portion of RTR.
