Well, how is it going a few days in?
We started back up the beginning of July, but have taken part of this week off due to home projects I have undertaken. We've done 5 weeks so I think it was time for a break. Back at it tomorrow!
It's so great to be back in a school routine and going at a good clip. I can get more school done before all the fall activities start up!

I haven't even ordered RTR for my oldest yet.

We are in the middle of getting our house ready to sell, so we are super busy. I am not sure yet when we will start. Hopefully we will be done by mid August.

We started Preparing Hearts and LHFHG today.
My Beyond child is sick - hope to start soon.
We had a good 10 day break - with excellent weather- and was more than ready to get back into it.

We are on week 2 and everyone seems placed just right!
Things have been pretty smooth around here

math for ds in Preparing is a bit of a challenge at the moment, but he makes up for it in all the other subjects

We have started our easy block... that's what we do for our longer "breaks" of school... we do three weeks of DITHOR along with math, dictation, and grammar (because of this I'm able to cut those out if we need a slightly shorter day during our regular days) for Jayden and Grace. Julianna goes half speed (until she starts DITHOR, then she'll be included with the bigger ones). I have added in school with Evie now and she's doing awesome. We will go to the beach for a long weekend when we finish this and then pick back up.
I have to order Res to Ref!

We are still plugging away at finishing LHFHG! It will have taken us just over a year to complete it. We are finishing up unit 31 today. Then only 3 more units to go! I'm sticking to MelinKansas's advice not to skip things, even though my urge is to get it done asap so we can start Beyond as the new "school year" starts. Just trying to take it slow and finish well.
Probably in a month or less we will start Beyond! Can't wait!

Praying your beyond child is feeling better and is ready to start soon!
So exciting to read about all the different families! It's such a blessing that we can homeschool our children and adapt our plans to suit our individual families!
Blessings to all you wonderful Mom's and may you find strength and grace in The Lord as the school year goes on!

May the Shepherd of your heart, continually keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him!

I only just placed my order this week, and won't be able to place my books order for another 2 weeks. Then we'll be moving house. I hope to be up and running by the end of September, but maybe I can still do 1 or 2 weeks worth of school before we move. We're focusing on cursive handwriting at the moment and finishing up some read alouds and math books from last school year.
Starting 3 Guides this September:
Preparing
Beyond
LHTH

Hi moedertje! Great to catch up with you here - missed you at convention season this year!

It sounds like your kiddos are flourishing - so glad to hear it. We will start Sept. 8, picking up Unit 9 in RTR with Riley, Unit 24 in Beyond with Emmett, and the World History Guide with Wyatt. I'm getting excited to begin and also to be back to more of a routine in general in our life.
In Christ,
Julie
