Singapore Math for 5th Grade

Post by emnsam » Wed Jul 30, 2014 7:15 pm

Would it make sense to start Singapore math with a 5th grader that places in 3a or would it take to long to catch up?

Singapore is not grade specific. So to have a 5th grader complete 3a would be fine. You just want them to finish 6b by the time they start the WG guide or basically by 9th grade. At that point, they will be starting high school algebra.
