A full credit for logic?

We require 8 credits for 9th grade here. I thought one way perhaps, to get the extra credit would be to increase the half credit of logic to a full credit. Would anyone have any advice on how to do so?

Both resources state that they can be used for one semester credit (1/2) of logic. It would not be cheating to grant one full credit.

Another option would be to add a 1/2 credit for PE. I know many states require 1-2 years of PE, so that might be an option. Of course it depends on interests, but something like doing 30 minute walks/jogs/bikes 4-5 days a week could easily count for the 1/2 credit. Or something like bowling, swimming, or tennis would be great options.

I think I'm going to go for a full credit of French and add a credit of Canadian Grography.
