Intro. and a question about books

Post by Bookinmama7 » Wed Jun 11, 2008 11:02 am

Hello,

I'm planning on using "Bigger Hearts for His Glory" this upcoming year with my 10yod.

This will be my 23 year of hsing. I have 3 left at home. The older two will be using Alpha Omega lifepacs (for the first time ever!)

I hope to use HOD from now on with my youngest. (Lord willing)

My question is this....are the CHARACTER SKETCHES put out by Institute in Basic Youth Conflicts used in any of the years from BIGGER & up.

If they are not, I plan to sell them and would like to know ASAP as there's a used sale in my area in a few days.

Thanks so much!!

Carrie is leaving for convention this weekend, so I'm not sure you'll get a reply from her before Sun. or Mon. and I'm pretty sure she is the only one who can answer this for you.
If you really like these books and want to use them, I think you could easily add them to the Bigger program or any of the other programs.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Melanie!

Rats....I was hoping for a "yes or no" before Monday.

Oh, well! So goes life, right?!

I'm trying to also work part-time....IOW, I'm just going to "stick to the main plan" and not try and add in anything extra.

Guess I'll take them and try to sell, unless someone else chimes in and says "NO!"

Have a great rest of the week!

Deb,

I wanted to pop in and say :D Welcome :D , too! I live near Marysville...pretty close to Nebraska. Maybe we're close to each other  ...or maybe not. :(

I'm pretty sure that the books you're asking about aren't in Bigger or Preparing. You could check here on the website by going to Bigger and clicking on "Bigger packages", and then do the same fro Preparing. But...none of us know the plan beyond that.

Hi Kathleen,

We're in Lincoln.....hope you weathered the storms all right last night! (We got almost 3" here)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

AND

for the advice on the books. I guess I'd be really surprised if they were used but thought I'd just ask and make sure before they "head outta here!" :-)

Again, thank you!

Deb,

Sorry for the delay in answering your post, we're just back today! :D

The ladies are doing a wonderful job of helping you! It's not in the plans to use these in a future guide right now, so you're safe selling them off!

Blessings,
Carrie

Dear Carrie and All,

Thanks for getting back to me about these titles!

I'm taking them to the local sale tonight. If they don't sell, I'll contact the one lady that mentioned them earlier.

Again, thank you!
Deb
