Swapping Apologia Science in RTR

Has anyone used Abeka Science: Earth and Space instead of the Apologia Astronomy book in RTR for an older student?

I had a 7th grade, 13 year old doing Res to Ref this year. Astronomy was her FAVORITE science. I didn't worry about it being too light because she's not going to get High school credit for anything she does as a 7th grader. I was thrilled that she expressed interest in a science though, so we went with it.

Astronomy is only scheduled for part of the year though. There are several other books after that for science. With it you'll do A Child’s Geography Vol. I: Explore His Earth AND:
Option 1:
Exploring Planet Earth
Along Came Galileo
Isaac Newton

Or Option 2:
God’s Design: Our Weather and Water
God's Design Teacher Supplement

So, if it was that you just didn't want to do astronomy all year, consider the above. That being said, switching out isn't really that big of a deal. I did it last year.
