Bigger Hearts for His Glory - Handwriting Question

Post by Jamie » Wed Apr 16, 2014 2:06 pm

Is it recommended to do Bigger Hears for His Glory for 2nd grade if we are NOT planning to teach cursive? I usually wait until 3rd grade to teach cursive writing, plus this particular child really needs another year working on his print.

How much will that mess us up in the guide if we are not using the cursive handwriting suggestions?

Thanks for the advice!!

Hi Jamie! :D If your child places in Bigger Hearts for His Glory in all areas except cursive handwriting (due to your preference to teach it a year later), I would go ahead and enjoy Bigger Hearts for His Glory this year, and add handwriting to Preparing Hearts for His Glory next year. :D Here is a link to the placement chart, in case you need it...
