I went full circle and ended up right here!

Over the summer, I studied different curricula and HOD caught my eye from the beginning. I decided against it bc I would have to teach multiple guides and I couldn't imagine doing that. So I went with another curriculum that boasted group teaching. Well, after just two months I realized it was a mistake so I sold it and just placed my order for HOD! I have gone full circle and my dh thinks I'm nuts by now . I can't wait to get my order! This is the only reason I don't like weekends: no mail. I feel like a kid at Christmas!! I finally got what I've been wanting for months!

I can't wait to hear about your "box day" when it arrives! And how your first day\ week went! When they're properly placed, the work goes by so smoothly that homeschool is just a wonderful experience! I so enjoy my special time with my son. HOD is fun! It is quality fun time together, rather than something to endure. I hope your children will feel the same!

Thanks, Ladies! Your prayers and support are felt here in AZ. Thanks for answering my million and one questions as I try to figure this thing out. I feel confident in my decision to go with CTC instead of RTR. I have learned the importance of proper placement from all of you. It feels weird starting a new curriculum in October . I just couldn't endure the other one until January so it was the right choice to jump in where we are. Thanks again!!

We are also going to use R&S English 4 instead of 5. Thanks for your help on that one too .

I can't wait for you to start CTC, mothermayi! I'm so glad you are going to get to enjoy HOD with your family! The Lord leads families to HOD in all different ways. I'm so glad you were open to His leading, and I too would have made the change as you did once I realized His leading with clarity. May God bless you with a wonderful year in CTC!
