school supplies to go with new Geo Program?

What kind of school supplies are needed for this program? I am new to HOD, and I know what I have had to buy in the past when I pieced things together myself. Any suggestions?

Hello! Well....we don't really know yet. Now, I have my all my books for this guide, with the exception of the Teacher's Guide, Timeline CD, the Expeditional Journal, World Religion and Cultures Journal and the Book of Centuries. Those, according to the website, are scheduled to ship end of Aug. or beginning of Sept. I believe in another post, maybe it was Julie (Carrie's sister - the authoress of this curriculum), that the Introduction (which is always in the form of a PDF on the website) would not be available until right before the guide ships. The Introduction is where you can find the supplies you will need for that guide. I did notice in the Mapping the World with Art book that there were quite a bit of art supplies needed, special non-bleed pens, white erasers, protractor (preferably metal), a compass, a block of "Sculpy" modeling clay, poster board, etc. All these things can really be pulled together with one afternoon shopping trip once we get the guide in our hands! Hurry Carrie, I, whoops, I mean we can't wait to dig in

Maybe Carrie will come in and let us know what we would need. Thanks for the heads up on the Mapping book. I can look that one up and see what is needed. I like to have everything done in advance, and I know this one is hard because it is new.

We're writing the Introduction and Overviews now for the new guide, including course descriptions, course materials, general supplies, and grading for each major subject area. So, it will be late next week sometime that this part will be proofed and ready for the website. It is always the last thing to be done, as the guide needs to be completely written and edited multiple times before we can write the Introduction and Overviews (just to be sure they are completely accurate).
