My HOD is on an airplane!

Post by Amey » Thu May 29, 2008 4:08 pm

My HOD order that I made more than a month ago is on an airplane coming my way as I write this! We live in Mexico, so rather than paying big taxes on my HOD box to come here (and not being sure of it's condition upon arrival :? ), some friends of ours are bringing it on the plane with them. I love these dear friends, but I must say I am equally as excited to get our LHFHG! I know I will up late perusing tonight long after our visitors have left and the kiddos are asleep! Can't wait!! 8)

HOW EXCITING! When my parents and others go into Haiti, they do the same thing for my cousins. They take "important" things in their luggage in order to avoid extra customs and to make sure they arrive safely. Last year my mom took a different program to my cousin. I actually plan on letting her know about HOD. I really think that she would like it!

Oh Amey,

As soon as I read the subject line I got a HUGE smile on my face! You have been so patient. Maybe your friend will want to help you check your order against the invoice?

I hope "HOD" will be alright flying... it could be "his" first time you know... Be sure your friends give "him" some gum to chew and some earplugs - you don't want HOD to arrive queasy.

O.k., that was a bad attempt at humor, time for me to go to bed. Please DO share your box day with us though! And do remember to hug your dear friend before tackling her and tearing into her baggage for "HOD"!

Amey,

I'm so excited for you to get your books. Patience is a virtue that I desperately work on! :D

Let us know when they (and your precious friends) arrive!

Blessings,
