Beyond 17.4: Is this the right verse for Loyalty?

Hello!

The verse that goes with the character trait, Loyalty, is listed in the Beyond guide as Proverbs 19:11 ~

"Good sense makes one slow to anger,
and it is his glory to overlook an offense."

Is it possible that this is not the right verse?

In the KJV, it says, "The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression." I didn't know if that would be helpful. Then with the definition: loyalty means showing firm, faithful support even in times of trouble." I think the idea is that we can be loyal even when someone sins against us. We have the opportunity to overlook (forgive) or pass over their transgression. Atleast that's what I thought when we were on unit 17. HTH.

That makes sense! I guess the verse, "There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" comes to mind as well, but we could certainly also talk about that one, couldn't we!
