Singapore 3A & 4A
My 3rd grade DD is in 3A, and 5th grade son is in 4A (he did 3A last year). He is just math minded, so 3A last year was no problem. We just started our new school year last week, so the year has just begun. She has been doing well.......but we just got to addition and subtraction, sum and difference...

Even in the R&S 5, which is what I am using with her, they start the diagramming out slow and easy. I am no hel...

HELP!!! CTC Poetry
Tonight I went to copy the poem for Unit 8, when I noticed that the poems for Units 8 and 9 are missing from the book. I was wondering if this was an error in printing or if I just happened to have it missing from my book. And can someone post those poems on here so I could copy them down please.......

Concord Cunningham, The Scripture Sleuth
Question: Since this is a Storytime book to be read over 20 days, when I calculate it I would read 5 pages a day. But with it being a mystery, and each chapter being a mystery, do I stop in the middle of chapters? I am curious to know what others do......

Re: Question about Beyond
I let her use the same page as the previous day and add to it where she left off. One day they illustrate it, so I have the lined paper with the top unlined for that purpose.

Question about Beyond
How much copywork of the poetry do you have your child do? Some of the poems are pretty long, and I am wondering if they are supposed to copy it completely by the end of the unit or just a portion of it. My DD is 6 and says, "That's too much".....She is doing great with all else. And she just amazes...

Notebooking and Science in Bigger
I was wondering what seems to work better in Bigger for the Notebooking and Science......the 3 ring binder with plastic page protectors, or a bound sketchbook with unlined pages. And is there a reason why you prefer one over the other? I am just trying to pull everything together. Thanks!
