DITHOR 2/3 vs 4/5
Wondering what the difference is in workbooks from 2/3 and 4/5. It looks like you can use books from various reading levels interchangeably so I'm guessing 2/3 is just a bit less time consuming? I'm planning to use 4/5 with my fourth grader next year. Just wondering if there are any big differences ...

DITHOR TM Necessary?
Hello. I was looking at DITHOR 4/5 for my fourth grader doing Bigger next year and was wondering if the Teacher's Manual would be necessary? In the past I have leaned toward purchasing TMs for various programs and after the first week I find I never use them as they really aren't needed or are just ...

Re: Preparing for 2nd (8 in Aug) and 4th (10 in Jan) Grader
Thank you for all the ideas ladies!! After much praying, reading, and studying all your feedback I believe I"m going to go with Bigger as many of you recommended and add additional readers to my daughter's science/history curriculum if necessary. I read some mixed reviews on A Child's Story of Ameri...

Thank you for your response. You said, "Been there done that" with your 8 and 10. What did you mean? You placed them in too old of a book and they both struggled keeping on pace with one another? What book did you use for 8/10?

Re: 4th Grade standards with Bigger
Trying to figure out if Bigger or Preparing would meet 4th grade standards better. My daughter could do either. I'm thinking Preparing might be a better match for 4th grade though for L/A, History and Science???

4th Grade standards with Bigger
I am considering doing Bigger next year with my 4th grade daughter. Can I feel confident that I'll be meeting 4th grade standards for L/A, Science, History in the Bigger program? Is the writing process covered or do I need to select a separate curriculum for teaching writing? Thank you.

Preparing for 2nd (8 in Aug) and 4th (10 in Jan) Grader
Has anyone used Preparing for a 2nd grader (age 8)? He is an emerging reader and does not know cursive so I realize I'll have to make some adjustments to the curriculum but I am also schooling a 4th grader at the same time and just really love the looks/idea of using Preparing with them. Just wonder...

Bigger or Preparing - what about DITHOR
I'm in need of some advice dear ladies. I used Beyond 2 years ago with my then K son and 2nd Grade daughter. This past year we went to MFW ECC b/c I really wanted to do a nice overview of geography for the kids. Now I'd like to come back to HOD. I'm just not sure if Bigger or Preparing would be the ...
