Thank you for your response. You said, "Been there done that" with your 8 and 10. What did you mean? You placed them in too old of a book and they both struggled keeping on pace with one another? What book did you use for 8/10?

Trying to figure out if Bigger or Preparing would meet 4th grade standards better. My daughter could do either. I'm thinking Preparing might be a better match for 4th grade though for L/A, History and Science???

I am considering doing Bigger next year with my 4th grade daughter. Can I feel confident that I'll be meeting 4th grade standards for L/A, Science, History in the Bigger program? Is the writing process covered or do I need to select a separate curriculum for teaching writing? Thank you.

Has anyone used Preparing for a 2nd grader (age 8)?
