Re: MEALS FAST
I also wanted to add that wraps are easy, quick and versatile. Examples: Tortilla with deli meat, lettuce, cheese, mustard or ranch eaten cold. Tortilla with mozzeralla, pepperoni, pizza sauce warmed in the oven to melt the cheese. Tortilla with cooked ground beef, cheese, mustard, ketchup and pickl...

Re: Placement help
My3sons, I am also leaning towards English 5 with ds, he has not had a ton of formal grammar, just the normal public school language arts. I doubt he could even diagram a sentence (Although we did do Rod and Staff in 3rd grade, but that seems like a long time ago) I think he would definitely be grat...

Re: Placement help
Thanks blessedmomof4. I think CTC would be the best fit for him. He is a very strong reader, not in the least bit sensitive, but does not like to write. He is extremely bright, but a huge procrastinator. My biggest two concerns are the English and the math. I'm not sure where to put him and how that...

Placement help
Hi there, I have a 12 year old currently in 7th grade. He has requested to be homeschooled because he is not liking the school he is currently attending. I am considering both CTC with extensions and RTR but cannot make a final decision. My questions are.. Do the extensions get used in place of the ...

Re: Brand new- where would you put a 12 year old?
How exciting you are going to have your 12 yo home to homeschool! :D I think CTC sounds like a good placement for him, and I'd start with R & S English 5 as he'll be 7th grader. It may be hard at first, but it's only 2 days a week, and he'll grow into it. :D You can give the free Singapore Math Pla...

Brand new- where would you put a 12 year old?
I am new to HOD. :-) I am getting ready to start LHTH with my 2 & 4 year olds and will start LHFHG when my 4 year old turns 5. I have been praying about possibly moving my 12 year old from PS to homeschooling starting next year. He loves the school he goes to, but the school is quite a distance and ...
