I wanted to stay involved in all that I have available (co-ops, HS playgroups, etc.) and find which one or two groups really fit well for us. So, I know after Christmas our schedule will lighten.

As for not trying to finish within a year...I don't mind taking longer ...

I have searched and couldn't find anything already written on this topic, but I thought I had read about it somewhere....

Do any of you do HOD on a 3 or 4 day schedule instead of 5 days? We will be doing LHFHG and I am looking at all of our co-ops, playdates, etc. and ...

I'm new around here, but I'll chime in!
I went to public schol K-12, made mostly A's, was on honor roll, etc.
When I became an adult I discovered that although I made such great grades in school I really was not "educated" the way I thought I was.
Oh, I passed tests with 100% most of the time ...

OK...I have undergone such a transformation in the past few weeks and it is culminating right now...I wanted this, prayed for this, so why am I so anxious??????

God has finally answered my prayers for DH to have the desire to hs our ds next year. Praise number 1!!!!

I just read Managers of Their Homes and it sounds great and all, but implementing may pose quite a challenge for this very unscheduled mama!

Ok, I have already decided on LHFHG for next year, but just wanted experiences with testing. (I know, I know, equivalent to a 4 letter word, but humor me :lol: ).

I have no idea where that is :lol: I'm in the piedmont triad area. We've only been here a few years. I did spend my early growing up years in the western part of the state, but I'm still not that knowledgeable with the whole state :oops:

I am not understanding why we start with EB Math 2A/2B instead of 1A/1B. I've seen 1 A and B for sale used, but can't see contents for either to see any differences.

I am so overwhelmed with this curriculum choice ladies, and I NEED some "been there, done that" expertise!
