The skills addressed are more advanced than in LHFHG, and LHFHG lays a good foundation. For extra read-alouds, you could always pick from the Beyond storytime books you're not planning on using next year.

I agree whole-heartedly with this advice!

You will not always need to use the right side of the next guide, just so you can see what this would lay out to be...
2011-2012: LHFHG for core program (including Burgess Read-alouds and follow-up skills in LHFHG's Storytime box) and Beyond's ERS, Singapore Math 1A/1B, LA box of 1 x a week grammar introduction and Spelling List 1's plans
2012-2013: Beyond for core program, "Drawn into the Heart of Reading" Level 2/3 for reading instruction, Bigger Heart's Singapore Math 2A/2B, LA box of R & S English 2, Spelling List 2's plans
*OR, if you want to use the Textbook/Workbook plans for Singapore Math 2A/2B (instead of the hands-on lessons for 2A/2B in Bigger Hearts), the 2A/2B Textbook/Workbook plans are in Beyond's Appendix. You could also schedule R & S English 2 on your own quite easily, doing one lesson per day. So, you could just use Beyond's guide.
2013-2014: Bigger Hearts for core program, which includes "Drawn into the Heart of Reading" Level 2/3 (with harder books), 3A/3B Singapore Math Textbook/Workbook plans, R & S English 3 doing just a lesson a day, Level 2 Dictation.
So, by the time you are using Beyond or for sure by the time you are using Bigger Hearts, you can be working from 1 guide, while still moving dd along in the progression of skills in LA/math. I hope that makes sense - if I confused you more than helped you - please ask questions! HTH!
