DITHOR half speed

Post by MomtoJGJE » Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:00 am

does anyone do DITHOR half speed by letting them read one day and then do the other stuff the next day? Like if you were doing left side/right side half speed they would read the section on the left side day and then do whatever the written work was on the right side day?

That's exactly what we do - read one day and then do the DITHOR book work the next! Very easy way to get used to using DITHOR. We just started it this year and half-speed has been perfect.
I read in one of Julie's posts that she had done that way at one point too.

Hope your year starts out well with your children!

So you don't read the reader everyday?

It sounds like a good plan.

We do things a little bit differently.

We read everyday, but we we keep DITHOR flexible. We don't feel guilty if we don't do DITHOR everyday.
