Preparing - Unit 4, wk 1 - clay question

Post by arstephia » Mon Sep 20, 2010 10:15 am

How big is this clay map project supposed to be? I want to be sure to have the right size container available for her today.
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!

I put mine in a square glass cake pan...9x9 maybe? The directions say in an airtight container, but we did ours all in one day, because of our schedule.

It really was a pretty good size as we could flag and fit what was needed just fine. Any smaller pan, there may be a flagging problem.

We used a clear square tupperware/lid combination. It was probably close to annaz's size mentioned, maybe a tad smaller. Worked like a charm! :D My "sequential-step-loving-boy" sure enjoyed that project to the hilt! :D

So did mine. We even added food coloring to the water so it was blue.

Then..........

She wanted to goop it up and play with it. B.I.G. mistake!
