Getting excited about CTC...
even though we have 13 weeks to go before we get there
First I was thrilled that we will be able to buy it when we need it. Then I was showing the catalog to my youngest daughter, to have her input on whether to buy the history read-alouds, girls interest read-alouds, or the independent extension pack. My daughter said. "I still want to have read-alouds with you, it's nice."
The I asked which read-aloud set, and she picked the girl interest set, because she thought it would be more interesting than the history read-alouds. Well that is an even bigger blessing because we own two of the books, and all but one are available within our local library system. This means a significant savings. And I already have her next language arts and math that I got second-hand, so I only really need the Economy Package and the Science Adder, along with the one read-aloud and the music CD! It makes me very happy to see that all being worked out, when I had been worried I'd have to settle for something else. I'm especially happy to see my daughter so eager to get started, and so excited about what's coming next.
I have a schedule worked out for the last of Preparing, and one for CTC when we are ready for it. It's good to have things in order, it brings a much-needed sense of peace.

How wonderful that it is all working out and everyone is so excited to get started! I know the excitement is building around here as we anticipate starting Bigger.

Lourdes,
Isn't it amazing how the Lord puts our worries to rest by working all things out for our good when we seek Him.
I am always amazed at how He cares for us and how He is involved in our daily lives. What an amazing God we serve!
We pray you will enjoy CTC as much as we did with our own son last year!
Blessings,
Carrie
