With this season of research, comes a large surge of board members who are being activated each day that are new to HOD and new to our programs. This also happens to be the season when Carrie is hardest at work writing the new guide, making her less accessible than she usually is the rest of the year, so right now families are being directed to the HOD Board to get their in-depth questions answered. That makes those of you who answer questions on the board very important, and we are grateful to each of you! 
As our new members seek to understand the philosophy of HOD, learn how HOD is designed, and figure out what is needed to make each program work, the board can be a huge help. We actually created the board to help fulfill that purpose!
However, clarity then becomes very important on the board during this season. With that goal in mind, posts that would normally receive more latitude the rest of the year will be removed during the summer months if they confuse the board reader about the design of HOD. You'd be surprised as to how many phone calls and emails we receive from moms who are confused about HOD by something they read on the HOD board! If we do happen to remove a post of yours, we will let you know why. This is just a general announcement to let you know that the board is in a unique season for the summer months!
