I need Julie to go behind me and fix my uh-oh's.

I LOVE to write, LOVE it, but I need a good editor to make it grammatically correct! :D

Anyone else here related that I should know about?

Hi gals! You've got me cracking up here! Yes, that is me! I do my best with editing, but I know there are still mistakes. One thing that is nice is that Carrie and I can work together so that the wording makes the most sense to teach from, rather than just what's best for editing purposes. Please don't hold my posts to a high editing level though - I take great joy in not "thinking that hard" about them!

In Christ,
Julie

Hi Sarah! Yes, we have an older sister, and yes she uses and has used various ages of HOD programs. She and her husband have chosen to put their children in public school at different ages though, mainly due to health concerns. They have 7 children and are a wonderful family - we love them dearly! She is not part of this board though - she is not very "into" computers!

Hi Annaz! I guess I put it in my introduction, but nobody really goes back and reads those - so probably a lot of people don't know! I'll have to post some pics soon of Carrie's children and mine playing together - 7 boys makes for some very FUN and memorable pictures!

How great that you can share all of this with your sisters. Unfortunately all of my siblings are way older and therefore so are their children. My kids won't get to play with cousins :( The spread of ages on the cousins goes from my niece who is in college to my dd who is 3. Oh and they are the only girls.

Yes, Julie is my wonderful sister. I forget at times that everyone on the boards doesn't know that!

The Lord blessed me with Julie and my sister Cindy too! :D They are my best friends in the world and work so hard to make sure our guides are well thought out.

Julie's teacher-style mind helps edit for content as well as for mechanics, grammar, and usage. Most editors aren't content editors too, so we are grateful that Julie can do that also. :D Her master's in education and her years of teaching help her to do our editing well.

Any mistakes you see in our guide come from me not giving her enough time to do her job as well as she'd like, as we are often hustling the final editing stage to get our books to press on time to meet our deadlines.

It is amazing to me how the Lord uses the people we know to help in the ministry of our business. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

I read them! But I think w/the "author" name and the signature line it gets all mixed up!
