Ordering online or at conference?

Post by my4sugars » Fri Jul 03, 2009 9:41 am

I wondered if any of you ladies could answer a question for me. Dh and I were discussing which would be a better plan and easier on the purse. Is it better to order curriculum online or at a conference if you have the opportunity to do so? I'm thinking of waiting until the end of this month to order at the Southeast Homeschool Expo in Atlanta, not for any other reason other than getting to meet Carrie and gang in person. 8) :D But dh wants to know which is cheaper. We live in GA, and so the sales tax we would pay is 7%. It seems like in 6 in one and half-dozen in the other. But I'm asking for dh's sake. Thanks alot!

There is free shipping at the book conferences, but you do pay tax. It depends on how many books you order, and how many Priority Mail boxes they would fill. HOD ships Priority so your materials arrive in good condition (not always the case with standard mail  ). I wish I could be of more assistance, but that's all I know.

Either way, it will be fun to meet you at the GA conference! :D
