?? About Extension Pack w/ Preparing

If we are using the extension pack with Preparing Hearts, are we supposed to do what's stated in the Independent history box in Draw and Write plus the scheduled lesson in the appendix for the extension pack? Or does the younger child do the box and the older child do the extension pack only? Hope I stated my question clearly.

You made total sense! The answer is this one...:

The younger child does the box and the older child does the extension pack only.

Of course, if your older child is dying to do the Draw and Write drawing, he/she can easily do that in addition to the extension assignment.

Thanks Julie, that is what I figured but this morning when ds was enviously eyeing dd's plant and tree that she drew yesterday it made me think twice about it. I think I'll tell him he can draw from that book anytime he wants after school. I found out today that he needs a little help with the reading of his extension book so I'll sit with him for that while dd does Draw and Write.
