Bigger extension geography question

Post by sted » Mon Apr 06, 2009 3:43 pm

If I use the Bigger extension books, what about the geography assignments? Do you think it's challenging enough for an older student? We haven't done much geography and I'd like to add more. Any suggestions of what could be added to the Bigger extension program? Perhaps A Child's Geography or just blackline masters to label?

Thanks,
Shannon

The Geography in Bigger Hearts connects directly to the history, so it is memorable in a powerful way. I'm not sure how old your dc are, but my first feeling is that I wouldn't add more to Bigger Hearts. Maybe you could give it a trimester period and see if you still wanted to add some in at that point? It was wonderful just the way it was - however, if your heart is leading you to add more, there is time leftover for it with Bigger Hearts. :D
