Handwriting

Post by billswife » Wed Aug 20, 2008 7:36 pm

My ds learned cursive writing in public school last year. He seems to need a refresher. I would like to use a Reason for Handwriting, but can't figure out which level would be right. Does any one here use it and know which book would work? He needs to be reminded on how to make the letters--especially capitals. I also welcome other suggestions--Cheerful Cursive, etc.

Thanks
Ann

A Reason for Handwriting has a Transition book that we are currently using. I got it last year because my dd needed to practice printing more neatly for a while. This year we've begun the next section, which is the transition to cursive...after that comes another section of just cursive practice and verses to copy. So, when you look for the workbook look for T or Transition on the cover. I believe it covers about 9 weeks before moving into the other section of cursive.I think that would be a good one to refresh his memory. :)
