Teacher Manual helpful for R&S 2?

Do you find the Teacher Manual helpful for Rod and Staff 2? Also, I'll be having 3 kiddos using it -- do I need to order 3 textbooks? I know that it is recommended that most of it be done orally so thinking I wouldn't need copies for each of them? Thanks!

No, I would not order each one a textbook. The written exercises can be done mostly orally or in a group, there's no need for them to all be written. I did not use the Teacher's Guide and felt it was just fine without it. I am using the Teacher's Guide in R&S 3 and it has helpful reviews, questions, and all the answers to the written exercises. This does make it very quick and easy to check over them, when my daughter does them written.

Are you having each of them use R&S 2 at the same time? If you are, then I would get each child their own copy. My 2 kids next year will be using R&S 2 and I got each their own copy. Also, I did end up getting the TM. But I did this because I read out of it and then they follow along in their copy. I do this for my oldest and it works great!
