Re: Order of boxes?
I have not heard of them being completed in any particular order.
I do find though connections throughout the boxes on the left side that make a whole picture for the day around a central theme. So I notice that it builds on itself. I often will do the history activity last since I find it makes more sense if we have already done the other left side boxes for the day and can see how the activity connects in. Often the different readings will reinforce one another which helps me remember it, and I think it helps my children remember it too.
The right side boxes often build throughout the week and have a rhythm to them from one unit to the next.
Enjoy!

Re: Order of boxes?
There is not a set order and I schedule my day according to my child. It does work best to read the history story before you do the other boxes on the left side because everything does sort of tie in. I always start my day with reading because that takes a lot of concentration. I alter between high concentration and more relaxing/variety type of tasks. So I usually start with reading, then go to the history story and on from their. I usually end up alternating between the pages as I set up a schedule that will work best for me and my child. I like to end with the activity box if there is a project because I don't feel like I am getting behind if I do that last and we can just take our time and do it right.

Re: Order of boxes?
It really doesn't matter what order you do the boxes however like others have mentioned doing the history reading before the other history boxes is helpful. My ds actually numbers his boxes each day. This way he feels like he has some control over his day. He has been doing this for several years and he has learned a lot about time management, what subjects he does best if he does in the morning and he also alternates things that require writing with those that don't.
