I gave my friend LHFHG today!

Post by Heidi in AK » Fri Jan 06, 2012 11:35 pm

A friend messaged me today asking me to give her homeschooling information because things at school were going poorly for her Ker. Since we'd talked about her homeschooling in the past, and the last time we talked about PS, things were going well, I was curious.

I felt led to give her my LHFHG so she could start school with her DD5 Monday. We went through the placement chart, and she placed squarely in LHFHG. My Shana's doing the RH side of Beyond, so I figured we could do the RH side alone for a while, getting her used to adding spelling and ARFH A, while we wait for what we need from HOD for LHFHG.

So happy to have her along for the journey!!! :)

That's so kind of you, and as long as your little sweetie will have what she needs, sounds like a win-win situation for all! May your friend have a great start to homeschooling - we will be here to help her too if need be! :D

Thanks, Julie! I think we'll be ok for a little bit. And my next step, once she gets settled, is to introduce her to the forums. She's doing 1/2 speed while they make the adjustment. :)
