Switching handwriting question

Post by alydar » Mon Jan 02, 2012 6:50 pm

DS7 and DD5 have both used the A Reason for Handwriting. DS7 is now doing copywork in Beyond with the typical print handwriting. I'm hoping to move into cursive when he enters Bigger. But I've been reading about the Italics method and I think I like it.....especially easing the move into cursive writing.

Is it too late to switch over? I guess they would have to learn a whole new way to form letters. I can't decide if this is a doable idea or an epic failure waiting to happen.

Never mind! After a bit of thought I think we'll continue as we've been doing. Sorry - I fired off a post before really thinking it out first.
