How reading Louis Braille for one day has affected my ds

Post by John'smom » Mon Oct 24, 2011 12:45 pm

He told me today that he now knows what God wants him to do with his life. He said he wanted to have a school/orphanage for the blind. He then began to cry. I don't really know or not if that is what the Lord wants for him, but I love a book that will touch a heart like that.

Wow. It's great that your son is focused on what GOD wants him to do with life, and he clearly has a very compassionate heart. Thanks for sharing! :D

How precious! What a heart for the Lord your son has. It is our constant prayer that our boys will listen to and look for the Lord's leading in their lives. It is wonderful to start so young! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Wow - that's pretty special! :D My grandmother was completely blind, and I love to hear about those that have a passion for helping the blind. Like you said, maybe this will be your ds's purpose in life, and maybe it won't, but either way, to have a heart that is so filled with compassion and love for those struggling through difficulties - that is a very rare, very special, very Christlike quality. God surely has big plans for your precious ds! :D Thanks for sharing this, and may the Lord continue to touch your ds's heart so profoundly!

In Christ,
Julie
