OK, here goes:

Drawn Into the Heart of Reading with boy 14 in 9th grade.

Bigger with extension pack with boys 12 (almost 13) 7th grader and 9 (almost 10) 4th grader. We are about 1/4-1/3 of the way through already, so we will be finishing this year.

Bigger with the emerging reader's schedule and no extension with boy 8 in 3rd grade. He does the core stuff together with the other two doing Bigger.

Little Hearts with boy 4 (almost 5) (technically age-wise he's a preschooler yet, but he's doing this program cause he's academically ready) He's already done the first few units.

Little Hands to Heaven with boy 2. He does some of the easier stuff, and we will repeat this next school year for his 3 yr old year.


I've waffled on the Preparing for boy who is the 12/13 yr old, but he's flourishing so well with Bigger! and it is so easy to have them together... He does a higher level math, but otherwise he's really doing about the best he's ever done this year-thanks to HOD!

HOD Program: Little Hearts for His Glory with Reading Made Easy for Phonics and our own Math.
Age of child: 6 year old son
Start date: Aug 4th (3 days a week through Aug and full throttle starting in Sept)!

We've been doing Reading Made Easy this Summer because I was terrified about teaching him to read and he is doing AWESOME!! We're really looking forward to starting the whole program.

Preparing - dd 10, 5th grade
BLHFHG - twin ds 7, 2nd grade

DITTHOR with everyone 2 ds 13, 12, dd 10 and don't forget the twins

This will be our first year with HOD. We are going to be using Bigger for my 8yr old son and DITHOR 2/3 beginning I believe mid Aug if all goes as planned.

I thought about holding off with my daughter and starting them both on LIttle Hearts next year but I'm glad I didn't. She was so ready for LHFHG and is learning so much. I don't even know if my son will be ready for it next year. I also have a 3yr old girl maybe I could start her with my son if I hold him off a year but she has apraxia and may not be ready either. It's a little overwhelming at times when I think I have three kids so close in age I could have put them in one program but with their ability levels will probably have to do three separate programs.

We're still finishing up with Beyond, so I'm stretching it out and adding in FIAR titles to match up with our lessons for theme, geography, and character. We'll also get started with DITHOR level 2/3, and will go ahead with R & S grammar and cursive. I think that will be helpful for us so that when we start Bigger, we'll already have cursive out of the way and can hopefully use it with our copywork instead.
