Jesus, be with Beau. Comfort him and undergird him. Heal his belly, Lord. Let him feel Your touch. Be with Carrie and strengthen her. Comfort her. Uphold her with your Mighty Right Hand. Let her run to You and feel safe. Give her rest and peace. Bring Beau home soon Lord! Thank you for protecting him! In Jesus' Name,

Thanks to the wonderful ladies here for prayers! Beau was having stomach spasms and was in great pain a good portion of the night after his surgery, and it was looking like they were going to need to do the surgery again, this time removing part of his intestine that was weak. BUT, we know because of all of the prayers lifted up to our Lord, the doctor did several ultrasounds and determined he did not need the surgery again, and upped his pain medication instead. Beau made a turnaround and began eating, sleeping, drinking, walking like he needed to. Praise God for fellow prayer warriors such as yourselves! Isn't God amazing?!? Beau is now home, and our parents have come back early from their vacation to help. Carrie has been up all night, every night since about last Thursday with Beau, she is completely exhausted, and trying to recover physically herself. I had all of the rest of the dc for several days while Mike was out of town on business, and while Carrie had to be at the hospital. My boys actually loved it, and they were all so good. But, it's nice they can be back in their own home and return to normalcy. Anyway, we have coveted your prayers so much, and continue to do so as Beau begins to heal. Carrie is in the middle of unpacking all of the hospital things and trying to keep the other 3 dc away from Beau right now. She has her hands full, but will be back to the board soon. Thank you so much - this board is amazing!

Praise GOD! Julie I am so glad you updated. I have been looking and praying all day and was so happy to see this. Praise God! Still praying for him and for Carrie and family but so happy to hear this!

Wow! I'm just now seeing this, but I'll be praying for Carrie's family, too! I guess when Beau wasn't feeling so hot the other day it ended up serious. So glad that he's on the mend! Praising the Lord with you and praying for rest and recovery all around.

Thanks Julie for the update. I can't begin to imagine what it is like to have a child in the hospital. So glad he is doing better and everyone is home! Praying for their family.

Our family is finally on the path to wellness now, and I wanted to thank you all for your heartfelt prayers! We were so blessed by them and felt surrounded with God's love.
