Many, many times this is God's leading! Someone told me once, when I have been in prayer about something, and things happen that seem to lead in a certain direction, that is probably the Lord - as I've been in prayer about it. On the other hand, if things happen that seem to be 'signs' of what to do, and I haven't been in prayer, well - probably not from the Lord. So, just keep being in prayer about it! As you can tell from my responses, I truly feel either placement is a good one. In light of you sharing older ds has not been doing much history, science, etc. in his day, I do think LHFHG would be challenge enough - and also great fun! I think he would love all of those added subject areas - I know our boys love the hands-on things the most, and HOD does a great job of planning those for us (thank the Lord, as I surely wouldn't be able to pull that off on a daily basis on my own  ). If you are thinking LHFHG is a more solid placement for older ds anyway, maybe you could just start it with the 2 of them (maybe half-speed for awhile), and always move 4 1/2 yo down if you could see LHTH would have been a better fit. Anyway, hope something here helps!

In Christ,
Julie

Thanks Julie for your last reply.

I have decided to combined them in LHFHG! I have had complete peace about it ever since Alicia's post. God used all of you to help get me to this point and I so thank you, but Alicia's post was my final peace and Raindrop and Julie's last post was icing on the cake!

Thank you all for your time and help! You have been a blessing!
