You know what I do is have a crate I put the whole program books that goes on a shelf. I take from it only what we are immediately using and put those in another crate. That is our working crate. As we finish things we put them back in the crate and grab the next book to put in our working crate. Works really well. I think it can be overwhelming if you are looking at all of it all the time because your brain feels like you will be doing it all at once. In reality it is not overwhelming to actually do the program. It's just you need to organize the books you are not using and store them elsewhere until you need them.

You will get he program running and see right away how relaxing it really is to use HOD and all this stress will melt away. And next year when you order again it will be hard to rip yourself away for looking at all the books again.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I am working on a tentative schedule for both, no times, just a big blocks, until we get it figured out how long everything will take. I know, I really do need to just take it one day at a time and God will work it out! As for stretching out Preparing, I already have a tentative schedule for M-W, and then will divide up Thursday's work into 2 days, so Thurs. and Friday. That will make it a bit easier on ds too. So Thurs. and Friday should only take about 2 hours for both kids, yay!

water2wine- I have already taken out only the books we will need and put them on each child's shelf, and put the other back in the box and stuck it in our office . That did help!
