I am glad to hear it was a good decision. And yes, take time for those field trips.

That's so good to hear, Shannon! :D Worth a celebration, definitely - I'm so glad you and your ds are enjoying LHFHG and the structure it gives. I need to take my own advice and get out and do some fun things with my dc too. I am thanking the Lord for your good days with LHFHG!

Thank you ladies!!! Now to find a homeschool PE group and/or a playgroup with fieldtrips. We are enjoying our days, but I feel the need to get out and meet some new people. :)
God Bless You,

I just read some of your blog. I'm sorry sorry to hear about the loss of Ethan:(. I lost my husband of 11 yrs almost 5 yrs ago, and blogging helped me tremendously. I'm re-married now and blessed to be able to homeschool. Are you guys living in San Antonio again? We are not far away. We live in Dripping Springs, which is SW of Austin. My family in Canyon Lake homeschools so they have lots of info about homeschool stuff going on in the SA/New Braunfels/Bulverde area. Did you find a co-op?
It sounds like LHFHG is a good fit for your son. I was wondering myself where to go with my lil one who is going to be 5 in Oct. I already have LHTH(that I bought last yr but never really used) so I will start with that this year.
Blessings,
