I'm now wondering if Beyond... might be a good idea after all. Thanks for the reminder, 8arrows. We only covered about 6 units, and he actually asked me when we were going to "read those books again" a couple of weeks ago. It's really been me that can't seem to get it together! Beyond... worked well for my daughter at the age of 8, so probably would be great for him. As you can see, I keep switching back and forth on this, but as I was just recommending to someone on another thread that she wait on getting to Beyond...until her dc is closer to 8, I began to think maybe I should do that with my ds. Especially since my older two will be getting more and more independent with their HOD guides. I can still have family togetherness with other family read alouds in the evening and with a family bible study, which I've been thinking we need to begin doing anyway. More thinking to do....we will start in July with whatever I decide to do for him.

As for combining the older two in CTC, I really don't think my husband would go for that. He would see it as a step backward, which he will not like.:? But, after looking at how Rev. to Rev. looks, I should be able to handle the T boxes for my older two without too much of a problem....I hope.
