Your post brought tears to my eyes! THAT is what I want for my family and THAT is why we are using HOD this fall. I tell people all the time when they ask why I homeschool, "Because my children could become doctors, lawyers, or astrophysicists, but if they don't love the Lord, then I will have failed as a parent." To me, HOD is the power tool in my mom-kit to make this happen!
