Tina,
I am praying for your husband today. I pray for his courage, strength, wisdom and safety as he walks with our Lord! I also am lifting up your mother-in-law as she is hearing the word of God. I am lifting up you and your children as you wait for your husband to return.
In His service,
April

Thank you so, so much my sisters, for your loving prayers for my husband, myself and our children. My husband just called tonight

and told me that one of his cousins, a young woman, is very close to accepting Jesus as her Savior. My husband has been sharing with her from the Word and she is so close and desires to follow Christ, but there is a fear and hesitancy of what it will mean, fears over losing family, etc, and those kinds of things. Her younger sister is also very drawn to the Lord. My husband has been meeting with them for a couple of days now, witnessing and sharing with them from God's Word. Please, please pray that these precious women come into God's family and are born again into the Kingdom. My husband is so overjoyed that this is happening, and he asked for our prayers for them. I told him how everyone on here is praying for him. I said, "Even the ladies on my homeschool curriculum message board are praying for you, ladies all over the country!" He just said, "Wow," with a little chuckle. A few seconds later, the phone got disconnected and I haven't heard back from him in the last few minutes.
Another amazing thing is that about 10 seconds before he called, I said, "Father, please have my husband to call me tonight. Thank you, Father." And 10 seconds later, seriously, he called!

I told him that, and he said, "Amazingly, Tina, about 10 seconds ago, the Holy Spirit told me 'call your wife right now!' " Isn't our Heavenly Father wonderful? I am just amazed.
So, please continue to pray for him...as well as these two young Iranian women's salvation. This will truly be an answer to our prayers to see people give their lives to Jesus. I don't know their names, but our Father knows. Blessings!

Tina,
What a wonderful story this is! I've been praying for your husband, his family, and his safety. I've also prayed that you would have peace knowing that the Lord is protecting your husband. I'll keep praying for salvation of the girls. What rejoicing there will be in heaven when they accept Jesus as their Saviour.
Blessings to you!

Tina, I have had trouble getting on lately, but I have been praying for you and I'm so excited to hear the PEACE with which your husband is walking in because of the presence of the SPIRIT. I'm so excited to hear about the young women who are coming closer to knowing our Lord as well. I pray BLESSING on him and continued ANOINTING and for the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide his steps and protect his ways. I pray for the peace of the same Holy Spirit to grant you rest and comfort, knowing He protects your husband from harm. Sleep well, my friend, and may the grace of our Lord give you a great day knowing your husband is safe.

Thank you, thank you, my friends. Our Father hears our prayers!
My husband just called and left a message asking for prayer, specifically over the next 2 hours, as he is going to be meeting with several family members who are hungry to hear the Good News of Jesus and His Kingdom. His words were "It is EXPLODING here." He asked for prayer for himself, as well as for his family members hearts and eyes to be opened and enlightened.
So, continue to lift him up...as well as these precious people in a land where there is so much evil and where the gospel is not allowed to openly be preached.
Blessings,
Tina

Hi Tina,
I am new here, but have been reading your thread and am just thrilled with anticipation in reading what God is doing through your husband!!! To have such passion for Jesus Christ and for the lost within such a hostile part of the world is amazing. I'm so excited and looking forward to hearing your updates.

He will be in our daily prayers as well as you and your children. May God bless you all!!!

My husband just called...

Oh, thank you, Father, for his call. He is doing well. Please continue to pray. Seeds of the gospel are being planted by him, but there is also spiritual warfare and principalities, as he said, coming against him, trying to keep people away from him. This is mostly coming from older family members there in Iran, including his mother. He says that people are so lost and so hurting there, that he can understand that to be in the mission field and to make lasting change, a person needs to live among the people. Yet, I believe the Spirit is flowing forth from him, and that this 2 week visit will be fruitful for my Father's Kingdom.
He said there are 2 great needs there: 1) they need Bibles, BADLY 2) counseling...so many lives broken
Another thing he said he missed is just holding me in his arms...

I know, it's mushy, but he said, really, he is like touch-deprived because NOBODY gives hugs or anything there! It is very dysfunctional in the touch department. It's kind of like one of those don't-know-what-you've-got-til-it's-gone type of things. It has become so obvious how much love he gets from me and his children in the form of affectionate hugs, etc, that he really misses it! I thought that was sweet! Can't wait til he gets here!!!
Please continue to lift him up and come against these principalities that are opposing the gospel, which are from the anti-christ spirit. Also, please pray for his safe return and flight back. He will leave tomorrow night and arrive back here on Saturday.
Love to you all,
Tina

What a wonderful witness your dh has been during his visit! I am rejoicing with you for all that he has been able to share. I'm happy though that his time to come home is nearing. I know you are looking forward to having him home.

I will continue to pray.

THank you for the updates!! My husband and I have been so blessed by your husband's boldness in sharing the gospel in such a dark and dangerous area. Truly his love for Christ and others surpass any fears! What an incredible testimony! We will continue to pray for his safety and that the gospel could go forth unhindered. If you know of ways to help get bibles to Iran, let us know!!! We would be very interested in helping our brothers and sisters in Iran. Grace and peace to you as the time draw nears for the home-coming!

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement! In regards to sending Bibles to Iran, there are a couple of ministries that we support for reaching the Iranian people with the gospel. Here are the links to these ministries:
http://www.iranaliveministries.org/ This is a wonderful ministry that we support for evangelizing the Iranian people
http://www.elam.com/articles/New-Testaments-for-Iran/ Here is a ministry opportunity to specifically send New Testaments to Iranian believers. We have supported this ministry as well.
I pray you will be so blessed as you prayerfully consider blessing/partnering with these ministries to reach the Persian people. Love and peace to you!
